Ciara is a qualified and experienced teacher from Dublin, Ireland. She completed a Bachelor of Education at Dublin City University and then taught in a primary school for three years before moving to Australia. Since moving here two years ago, she has gained experience in a range of classrooms and schools across Sydney. She has also completed a certificate in TEFL which she puts to use in teaching English as an additional language to primary, secondary school and adult learners. Ciara loves to find engaging and interactive ways of bringing the English language to life and in her wide-ranging teaching roles, she's seen the importance of differentiating so that each student has a learning experience that is unique to them.

Most of all, Ciara wants to create a holistic space where every student feels empowered to be the best version of themself. Outside of teaching, she is also currently studying for a Degree in Counselling. She wants to utilise this to support all of her students to become intrinsically motivated and confident learners who know that they are capable of achieving anything.
